Charity spinathon to take place in Newport for bodybuilder's funds bid

A CHARITY spinathon is set to take place to raise money to help a Newport bodybuilder represent Great Britain in Miami. The two-hour session coached by Diana Hopkins of, Perfect Balance Mind and Body Studios, will take place at the Wales National Velodrome in Newport International Sports Village. Money raised will help 18-year-old Tumise Ogunmilua, of Maesglas, Newport, in his quest to represent his country at the Drug Free Athletes Coalition World Final on November 4.

A JustGiving page has been set up aiming to raise ?2,500 for the cost of the trip, including flights and accommodation. The challenge, from 11.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday, October 28, is limited to 40 fundraisers and costs ?10 to reserve a place. A prize is on offer for the biggest fundraiser.

The event is suitable for all abilities.
